About KDRT
The foundation stone of KDRT P.G College was laid in the year 2004 with the vision of providing quality higher education to the youth of Chauri Chaura and the surrounding rural belt of Gorakhpur district. The college in a sprawling campus of 3.5 acres, marked a significant milestone in the region’s educational landscape, offering students an opportunity to pursue their academic aspirations without the need to migrate to distant cities.
- Transition to SSRVM Trust
In the year 2023, the Founder Secretary of the college wished that the college now be run by an established trust like the SSRVM. Gurudev Sri Sri Ravishankar Ji consented to adopt the college for the betterment and upliftment of the region. Since then the college is operating under the guidance of Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir (SSRVM) Trust, which is dedicated to providing holistic, value-based education and has been instrumental in the college’s multifold development.
The college is running on regular academic and work schedule. We have a proud tradition of academic excellence. So, take your mind to a new direction with us because teaching students to be responsible within our society is an important part of the KDRT educational mission. We have built strong academic programs across all disciplines.
Our Inspiration
Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is a humanitarian, spiritual leader and an ambassador of peace and human values. Through his life and work, Sri Sri has inspired millions around the world with a vision of a stress-free, violence-free world.
